A major release has been made by Keke Palmer, the multi-talented artist known for her work in music, film, and television. Her latest album, Just Keke, was officially released worldwide on Friday, June 20, 2025. The album was launched through a partnership between Big Bosses Entertainment and the SRG-ILS Group (Virgin Music Group/UMG), marking a significant moment in her musical journey.
Alongside the album, a full visual film has been premiered. The Just Keke visual album was made available exclusively on Keke Palmer’s digital network, KeyTV (@KeyTVNetwork), at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET. The film has also been released across all major digital platforms, allowing fans to experience the music in a cinematic format.
About The New Release — The album contains 13 tracks and has been described as a musical diary. A raw and emotionally honest tone has been used throughout the project. The songs reflect personal growth, life changes, and emotional truths that have been experienced by Keke Palmer in the public eye. Executive production was handled by Keke herself, along with Grammy-nominated artist and longtime friend Tayla Parx. The album’s lead single, 125 Degrees has already made an impact. It currently holds the #20 spot on the Billboard R&B charts. The song has been widely played on radio stations and streaming platforms, and its popularity continues to grow. A strong connection with listeners has been formed through its relatable lyrics and smooth production.
A statement was shared by Keke Palmer about the album’s meaning. “Just Keke is the mark of a new era for me,” she said. “It’s an evolution of everything I had to be and become to survive and grow. It’s about fragmentation and the path to integration.” The project was created with Tayla Parx, who has been a close friend for over two decades. Together, they crafted a deeply personal and reflective body of work.

Following 125 Degrees, the next single released was My Confession. The song has been described by Keke as a way to express feelings that are hard to say out loud. “Music helps me say things I don’t always want to speak,” she shared. The original version was written and produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, and Usher Raymond. A new interpretation was created by Tayla Parx, Kameron Glasper, and Keke Palmer, with production by Jeia, Albin Tengblad, and Tayla Parx.
Another standout track from the album is Off Script. This song was one of the first to be written for the project. According to Keke, it reflects a turning point in her life. “I’m a Virgo and an actress—everything used to have structure,” she said. “But I reached a moment where I had to embrace life as it came. That’s what this song represents for me.” A mix of vulnerability and strength has been captured in the lyrics and sound.
The album Just Keke has been praised for its emotional depth and musical variety, with a blend of R&B, pop, and soul influences heard throughout its 13 tracks, each carefully arranged to reflect different aspects of Keke Palmer’s journey, while the production has been handled with care to allow her vocals and storytelling to shine; complementing the music, a visual identity has been created to match the album’s themes, and the film version of Just Keke adds another immersive layer to the experience, with scenes designed to reflect the emotions of each song, creating a full sensory journey that brings the music to life in a way that feels both intimate and powerful.
